A Candid Look At The Destructive Gambling Culture Prevelant Among The Asian American Community

Yesterday, one of my very dear friends Phuc Pham published his first article with the Voice of OC and like any proud momma bear, I am going to brag all about it (and maybe even give him a hug — which he’ll hate). The article, “Culture, Opportunity Lead to Gambling Issues for OC Asians,” takes a look into the destruction caused from gambling addictions among Orange County’s Asian American community. Just like Phuc, the article is articulate and candid leading to an engaging read about a growing issue that few even knew existed.

As for the author, all you need to know is he is addicted to discovering who “A” is on “Pretty Little Liars,” he’ll eat all your oreos if you don’t hide them away before his visits, and he is never one to hold back his opinions — a trait that often gets him in trouble with his friends but benefits him as a writer.
